The heart behind this organization begins with Jeffrey “Rowan” Andrew Vernum, whose life was defined by hard work, unwavering faith, and a genuine commitment to caring for others. Whether serving his family, lending a helping hand, or using his talents to solve problems, Jeffrey believed that work was an opportunity to honor God and serve those around him.

Throughout his career in the telecommunications industry, Jeffrey built a reputation for dedication, integrity, and excellence. Outside of work, he embraced life with curiosity and purpose. He was a lifelong learner who loved history, music, camping, woodworking, cooking, and sharing his knowledge with others. He found joy in teaching his sons new skills, supporting their interests, and encouraging them to pursue lives of service.

Above all, Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of faith. In his later years, his relationship with Jesus Christ became the foundation of his life. He believed in serving others with humility, compassion, and generosity, values that continue to shape this ministry today.

His greatest legacy lives on through his family. Inspired by the example Jeffrey set, his son Tristan Vernum founded this organization to carry forward his father's servant's heart. Every roof repaired, every family helped, and every life impacted is an extension of the compassion, work ethic, and love that Jeffrey demonstrated throughout his life.

Today, we honor Jeffrey's memory not simply by remembering who he was, but by continuing the work he believed in—serving our neighbors, restoring hope, and showing God's love through practical acts of kindness.
