OUR MISSION
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Tristan Vernum brings over 15 years of military service, 10 years of roofing experience, and a lifetime of dedication to serving others. His military career includes service in both the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard, where he developed a leadership style rooted in integrity, selfless service, and putting others before himself.
A devoted follower of Christ, Tristan has faithfully served his community as a Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, Vacation Bible School volunteer, and member of his church's security and technology teams. His commitment to serving others extends beyond his profession—it's a way of life.
As Vice President of Roofers Local 26, Tristan continues to lead with humility, compassion, and a strong work ethic. His leadership is deeply influenced by the values of the NCO Creed, placing the welfare, safety, and needs of others above his own.
Inspired by his father's legacy of compassion and service, Tristan founded this organization to help individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Whether assisting veterans, Gold Star families, seniors, or those experiencing unexpected hardship, his mission is to provide hope through practical support and a helping hand.
Those who know Tristan best understand the balance between his tough exterior and compassionate heart. His daughter affectionately calls him "the Jerk Hero," a nickname that reflects his straightforward nature, unwavering sense of responsibility, and willingness to step in whenever someone is in need. Above all, Tristan believes we are called to love our neighbors by serving them with dignity, compassion, and Christ-like care.
